DR.MANHATTAN COMMISSION

I've been trying to get in the habit of drawing more, wether it's just a quick sketch or a warmup type marker sketch like this one. I'm pretty much just trying to keep the gears churning and the hands moving. So when i was commissioned to do a Dr. Manhattan i was excited. I figured that should be a blast on the blue paper. When I sat down to whip this puppy out i quickly found out how complicated the character truly is to draw, especially in the style i'm doing these in. He never makes facial expressions and this style really relies on some type of facial gesture. Then there's the eyes.....blank glowing white eyes. All in all i think despite the challenges of simplicity this one turned out nicely and was even given a daily deviation on deviantArt.
