Here's a quick follow up to the first Aphrodite IX WIP. On this I wanted to kinda give some insight as to how I tend to work. As you can see I don't always start off on the backgrounds. I do usually leave the face until after i'm pretty warmed up though. Everything I've Done so far is with a single Series 7 Winsor & Newton brush.
On the hair you'll notice you don't always have to follow the pencils line for line. Some pencillers are sketchy with hair and some are tight. On this piece it's pretty tight but i took some liberties that i thought might add some life to it, it felt I little to stiff. The ink i'm using by the way is
DR. PH Martin's Black Star [matte] it dries with a matte finish and it's the only ink I prefer. Well thats it for now until the next update coming real soon. Tome to get back to inking some more Batman & Robin!
