Looks like I'll be helping out on JLA #42 penciled by Mark Bagley. I've always wanted to ink something of Mark's, he is such a solid artist.
Update: Just recieved 4 pages and oh boy I can't wait to jump on page 20, it's such a dynamic page. Well time to sling some ink!
Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 9:55AM Here's where I am after last nights broadcast on Ustream.tv. Things are coming along and at this point as those of you who tuned in know, the figure work is all brush. Hopefully everyone had a good time and got some useful information out of it.
Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 4:12PM Sometimes I find things I like and ink them for no other reason than just because i like it. This is one of those images that just looked like it would be fun to ink. Doesn't hurt that its drawn by the very talented Ed Benes.

I've recently had the opportunity to throw down some ink over Nicola Scott on Blackest Night Wonder Woman #1-3. I wasn't able to commit to entire issues but I did get to ink some pretty sweet pages with the help of Marc Deering (www.inkingissexy.com). Hopefully I'll get the chance to ink more of Nicola in the future, she has a pretty dynamic drawing style and I had fun with it.

I never thought I'd say getting an iMac was an upgrade from my power mac G5, but it is. I opted for the highest processor and the i7 model rather than the i5. I chose 8 gig of RAM and I'm glad I did. This thing is a power house, handling Photoshop and Painter 11 with no problem. This is by far the fastest machine I've ever owned and stealth like quite. My G5 sounds like an air raid and I dont miss the noise. I highly recommend any artist to give the new iMac a try, you'll be glad you did.
Here's my iMac 27" quad core with 8 gig of ram
Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 11:55PM Quick post before I hit the sack. Since I got the new iMac i've been having a blast in painter and photoshop. With the fast processors and 8gig of ram right out the box working digitally is as smooth as working on paper. So here's an update of that sketch i posted earlier, just a part of my personal exploration.
