Great flavor combination and an effective deadline solution. Seriously this isn't bad at all. I'm calling it a 12UP deadline potion, try it on your next deadline blitz.

There is a lot to say about this page. First Greg knocked it way out of the park. I though the original page (the one the wasn't supposed to see print) was outstanding. The one I wasn't supposed to ink but did.....twice, I'll get back to that. The I got the mod version of the original page. I remember feeling like a kid on christmas, I couldn't wait to jump on it. Of course i'd gotten an email from Greg telling me to hold off on the original version of what he'd done because he wasn't happy with it. So of course I held off until the file was up. Because of server problems Greg's new version didn't upload to the server so I downloaded the old version, the WRONG version. So by now you know where this is going. I was happy with what I was able to pull off and sent my usual email to the team and Greg got right back to me saying i'd done the wrong version. I forgot to add we were dealing with a brutal deadline as well. So the only thing i could do at this point was a do over. At least i didn't have to re-ink the last two panels. Off to ink the new version of the page with little to no sleep at all, running on 5hour energy drinks and fumes. Here's were I learn to hate digital inking as much I love it. With two lines left to ink I go to use the eraser tool when I see the beach ball of death (Im on a mac). O-NO, O-NO, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.... yep i'm an idiot, I realized I hadn't saved since opening the file. At this point i can hardly keep my eyes open. The digital gods remind me work smart or they will take it all back.....CRASH! So what do you do when you are faced with a situation like this? I can't cheat the page because Greg busted ass to do it twice himself and there was no way i could cheat him. So i dig in and start over. The story has a bitter sweet ending in that the redo was better than what i originally did, but the sad part is the WRONG version was printed. The digital gods win. On a side not "save as" is now on my express key on my Cintiq. Take that digi Gods.
